Friday, June 22, 2018 -- 8:30-10:00 AM at SCT Offices (Coffee/Registration at 8 AM)
Presenter: Dr. Chris Brandmeir, Empire College
Motivating Diverse Team Members to Excel in Hospitality will be our session topic, presented by Dr. Chris Brandmeir, Hospitality Management and Business professor at Empire College, and Santa Rosa Junior College Adjunct Faculty.
A one-size-fits-all approach is useless when managing employees of various ages or backgrounds. A manager has to be particularly conscious of using techniques that take their entire team into consideration. For a manager who wants to motivate a diverse workforce, understanding what excites and stimulates the individual employee to go above and beyond is critical to being effective. Motivation is the key.
